I originally hail from the free-spirited town of Woodstock, NY where yoga in all forms was ever-present. Yet, ironically it wasn’t until I moved to “The City” that I started to explore and develop my own practice. Remaining grounded amidst the frenetic pace of NYC life proved to be one of the most challenging and rewarding parts of my yoga practice. Now, many years later, I am continually in awe of the richness the practice brings to my life. In addition to the physical and mental benefits of the practice, yoga has been an entry point into some of the most wonderful communities of people I have had the good fortune to be part of, both as a student and teacher.

I completed my Vinyasa and Prenatal Yoga trainings at OM Yoga Center in NYC, along with a certification in Relax and Renew™ Restorative Yoga with Judith Hanson Lasater. My classes focus on the balance between effort and ease, movement and stillness, softness and strength, laughter and humility. Though it’s fun to balance on our arms and stand on our hands, I am most fascinated with the deep connection to oneself and others that yoga cultivates. Through the union of breath and movement I hope to guide my students to find connection in all aspects of their lives.
